Karting 101 is the required first course for all STEAM Cathedral students, but we recognize not every student possesses an intense competitive drive that needs harnessed and directed.
Some students would rather contribute from behind the scenes. Perhaps they desire to acquire the skills necessary to design and fabricate components, or machine solutions to complex problems on the lathe or mill.
And other students are old souls. They feel as if they were born decades too late, and long for days they’ve only experienced on pages and in film. We can relate.
Whether students aspire to perform numbers-matching concurs restorations, craft period-correct customs, or build something uniquely stylized and personal, STEAM Cathedral can illuminate their path.
The STEAM Cathedral restoration courses are a safe hands-on manner to expose youth to an array of tooling and techniques that are both virtually inaccessible and tangibly difficult to master. Our mentors outline the proper procedures and logical approaches for undertaking challenging tasks and serve as patient guides as students try their hand at a variety of old-world techniques.
